Adam let me wear by birthday present a little early today.   It does a good job of showing off my belly!

20 Week Appointment

I had the 20 week appointment today.   It was pretty amazing... the nurse went to check for the heartbeat, and she started way higher on my tummy.   She was up by my belly button, it is pretty amazing because the baby is way bigger than it used to be... wow!  It is definitely not the size of a blueberry anymore!   I also got confirmation that I have been feeling the baby move.   As the nurse was listening to the heartbeat, I felt the baby move, and at the same time the heartbeat went away.   The nurse then commented that the baby had moved, then she needed to find it again.  I  have been feeling it a lot in the last few days too.  Another thing that was exciting, the nurse practitioner commented on my weight.   According to their scale, I am halfway and have only gained ONE POUND!   She was very impressed that I have kept my weight under control.   The baby's heartbeat was still above 140.   It was 142... so maybe its a girl?   We have our next ultrasound at 22 weeks on April 8th.   Hopefully the baby has been listening to me and is keeping its legs crossed.   Adam is determined to read the ultrasound and figure it out.  :)   

Halfway there!

So, as of today we are halfway there! 20 weeks already, can you believe it? I have another routine appointment on monday, then after spring break another ultrasound! Yay! I can't believe we are halfway already! The baby is the size of a cantaloupe now... crazy!

Definately felt kicking

I was relaxing before bed, and felt that same weird flutter! Definitely think its the baby! Fun!

Kicking?

Think I felt the baby kick today! I was sitting in the recliner messing around on the internet, and I felt this weird pressure or flutter in my belly. Pretty exciting!
