Top Hat Ball

Tonight we went to the Top Hat Ball for Marklund with Bo, Trish, Mom, Dad, Joe, Susan, Steve, Mary, Gerry and Chuck.  We took a limo into the city and went to the end of Navy Pier.   It was amazing!!!  There was a silent auction, a live auction, then dinner and dancing.   It was a great time!   We danced late, it was nice because when Adam was not up for dancing (he was getting over a bad cold) I could pick just about anyone else to dance with.  The limo ride home was hilarious!!!  Everyone was singing along with the radio.   

Telling Grandma and Grandpa Conroy

We flew to Florida this weekend to tell Grandma and Grandpa Conroy.   We went to the Captain's Galley for breakfast with Mom and Dad.   I gave Grandma the little brag book with our ultrasound pics.   Adam thought it would be cute to tell them that I have been taking a different kind of pictures, so that's what I said.   Grandma was totally confused, especially when she asked who the pictures belong to.  Adam told her that it was his.   It was cute that it took a few minutes to figure out that the pictures were a baby, and that meant that they were going to become Great-Grandparents.   Grandma cried a little, and Grandpa was excited to get to look at the pictures too.
